What is a remanufactured cartridge?
A remanufactured cartridge is an original equipment
manufacturer's cartridge that has been disassembled,
cleaned, inspected and reassembled by replacing worn
or defective components, then filled with premium toner
specifically designed for that cartridge.
The
cartridge remanufacturing process
Responsible
remanufactures now use quality certified manufacturing
processes in the manufacture of their products.
Leading manufactures have realized that printers are ill-suited for
testing cartridges and predicting late
cycle cartridge failures. Our suppliers use
advanced electronic cartridge analyzers as part of the
testing process. Page yields are verified using
the ISO 19752 standard. For more information about the
remanufacturing techniques or how we qualify our
suppliers please contact us.
Implementing
Effective Test Methods and Quality Controls
The
many mid and late-cycle cartridge failures have damaged
the reputation of the cartridge recycling industry. The
generally accepted device for cartridge testing has been
the printer. However this method continues to produce
high rates of mid-cycle failure in cartridges even
though they had been carefully assembled and given a
post production test. It turns out that while a
printer is able to expose present faults within a
cartridge, it is unable to detect potential
faults that cause failures to occur later on. It
cannot expose potential problems that will appear deaper
into the print cycle. The drive for better quality has
led us to use specialized cartridge testing equipment
and procedures.
Quality Control
Our remanufactured cartridge suppliers are selected
because the follow industry standard manufacturing and
testing processes. Their cartridges have been independently
verified to meet OEM specifications. Each of our cartridges is tested
not on printers but on electronic testing stations to
verify quality and reliability. The cartridges we
sell are 100% guaranteed. Cartridges
are becoming increasingly more sophisticated and our
customers demand nothing less than OEM quality.
Printing more pages
A manufacturer's cartridge is engineered to
print a specific number of pages. Overfilling
cartridges rarely results in additional capacity and often results in print cartridge failures and costly
printer cleaning bills. Our cartridges meet OEM
specifications for yield, image quality and
reliability. Our page yields are verified using
the ISO 19752 standard. This means you can consistently
expect a reliable cartridge that will perform as well as
a new toner cartridges.
Environmental
Remanufacturing toner has an obvious positive environmental
impact as the use of fossil fuels are avoided as
disposal of empty cartridges is reduced. Capital Cartridge is proud to be a part of the remanufacturing industry and we look forward to providing you with quality, environmentally beneficial products.
